Hiltemann Emigration Consulting (HEC)

HEC aims to provide current information and sound advice to skilled workers, tradespeople, entrepreneurs and others intending to settle in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. HEC also helps with visa applications for permanent residence as well as temporary work and study permits and, if necessary, sees to it that visa applicants obtain appropriate legal representation.

Paul Hiltemann spent many years as an immigration officer for the Canadian Embassy in The Hague before becoming an emigration consultant. As a consultant, he deals directly and indirectly with the government visa offices at home and abroad of emigrant destination countries.

HEC works from the philosophy that the grass is not always greener elsewhere. Potential clients are given a balanced view of the advantages and disadvantages of emigrating and the pitfalls to watch out for. If a decision is then made in favour of emigrating, HEC can help obtain the requisite visa at rates that are extremely favourable.

HEC also provides made-to-measure advice and counselling to people who prefer to submit their own visa applications.

HEC sees to it that clients who have obtained their visas are well prepared for the actual move to their destination and will continue to provide post-settlement services for up to five years.
